Updated Plans and Pricing

From Monday 14 October 2026, we're increasing your plan inclusions and updating our add-on pricing across our Starter and Professional plans. Your base plan price isn't changing.

Here's what's updating and why:

Included call minutes are increasing — and from Monday 14 October 2026 apply to inbound calls only. Outbound calls will be billed per minute separately. We're decoupling the two because inbound and outbound calls have very different cost profiles.
Outbound SMS and outbound call rates are increasing — wholesale carrier costs and currency shifts over the last 12 months have made the old rates unsustainable.
Inbound call overage rates are updating — decreasing in AUD on Starter, and adjusting across currencies on both plans. The larger included minute allowance offsets this for most stations.
Additional phone number pricing is updating in USD, GBP, and EUR to reflect current number provisioning costs.
Additional user pricing is decreasing on Starter across AUD, GBP, and EUR, now matching Professional rates. We think you should be able to share Studiio with more of your team.

Our commitment to carbon removal

As part of every transaction processed through Studiio, we contribute a portion to carbon removal through our Stripe Climate partnership. This means that every payment you make — plan charges, usage charges, add-ons — directly funds the removal of CO₂ from the atmosphere.

We think building a sustainable business means taking responsibility for our environmental impact, and Stripe Climate makes it easy to put that into action.

Consolidated billing

We're also simplifying how your invoice works. Previously, usage charges and plan charges could appear on separate invoices. Going forward, everything will be rolled into a single invoice each month.

If you're on an annual plan, your plan charges will appear on the first invoice of your billing year — and any usage charges will be added to that same monthly invoice as they're incurred.

What this means for Broadcast Launch customers

If you joined during our Broadcast Launch period, your base plan price is staying exactly as it was — that commitment stands.

Your plan will fold into the equivalent current plan:

Starter Station (BL) → Starter (Studiio)
Professional Station (BL) → Professional (Studiio)

This means you'll move onto the usage limits and rates shown above. The main practical change is that outbound SMS and outbound phone calls will now be billed at usage rates, and inbound call minutes will have a monthly limit (with a generous included allowance that's significantly higher than before).

You'll receive a separate email with the specific details and effective date for your account.

Why we made these changes

The new structure reflects the actual cost of running the platform as it's grown — more carrier infrastructure, more supported countries, and more features. The old rates were set when Studiio was much smaller and the usage patterns were different.

We've tried to offset the usage cost increases where we can: the included call minute allowances are substantially higher than before, and additional user costs have decreased across both plans.

Remember, the new inclusions and add-on prices come into effect on Monday 14 October 2026.
